Domestic violence (DV) is any violent or aggressive behavior
within the home, typically involving the violent abuse of a spouse or partner.
DV can be defined as a pattern of behavior in any
relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an
intimate partner. The abuse may be physical, sexual, emotional, economic, psychological, and/or threatening. This includes any behaviors that frighten, intimidate,
terrorize, manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure, or wound someone.
Domestic abuse can happen to anyone of any race, age, sexual orientation,
religion, or gender. It can occur within a range of relationships including
couples who are married, living together or dating. Domestic violence affects
people of all backgrounds and education levels.

If you have been a victim of Domestic Violence and would like to be included in one of my DV publications, please send me the name you go by, your age, your story, and a photo of yourself. I will be publishing these submissions into books and magazines. This is all voluntarily as there is no currency to be paid or free publications to be given. Get your story out there. Help other people recognize the “red flags” early so they can maybe prevent themselves from being harmed. Help educate others. Free yourself from the hell you were once trapped in by writing down your bad memories and getting it all off your chest. The world needs to hear your story!
